Software Developer (Python)

What you will do.

  • Developing reusable, testable, and efficient code using Python
  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
  • Testing what you write and contributing to how it runs, is deployed, and scaled in collaboration with the Infrastructure team 
  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Integration of data storage solutions
  • Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
  • Collaboration with the Research and Design Teams in order to understand end user requirements for the implementation of new software features

Who you are. 

  • You have demonstrable experience as a Python Developer for a product/SaaS organization with good knowledge of Docker, REST web services etc.
  • You are proficient in designing & developing Web Services (REST)
  • You have Demonstrable exposure to the tech stack of: PostgreSQL, Docker, RDS, PyTest, Kubernetes
  • Good understanding of server-side templating languages
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as React, Vue, Angular, etc.
  • Strong familiarity with Architecture patterns

We would love if you have experience with:

  • Frontend: ES2018, React, Redux, styled-components, Jest
  • Backend: Python 3.8, Django, Golang
  • Database: PostgreSQL, Redshift, DynamoDB
  • Continuous Deployment/Tools: Gitlab/GitlabCI, PyCharm, Goland

Software Developer (.Net)

Key Accountabilities


  • Develop and enhance retail application solutions, and provide on-going maintenance and support
  • Understand and deliver on the functional support needs of Retail as they relate to retail technology solutions.
  • Follow support and development processes, standards, metrics, monitoring and reporting in order to ensure the applications are available, responsive, and achieving business outcomes and objectives.
  • Work closely with other business and IT teams (including service providers) to define and achieve key performance indicators and Service Level Agreements.
  • Participate in development projects / agile teams
  • Participate in the creation of business cases when needed to validate business value and priority; evaluate and make recommendations regarding cost-effective solution designs to address business needs.
  • Utilize interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiations.


Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements


  • 5+ years of IT application development and/or maintenance
  • Knowledge of and experience working with at least 4 of the following technologies:
  • ASP.NET, AJAX, C#, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, LINQ, WPF, JSON, SSIS, SSRS, Crystal Reports, and MVP/MVC Design Patterns.
  • Preferred “full stack” engineering experience with cloud-native tools and systems
  • Experience optimizing business applications for usability and performance.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of complex custom environments
  • Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills

Marketing Communications Director

Our Client is  a leader in cloud-based business communications and networking services is searching for a talented Marketing Communications Director to create and execute a diverse range of marketing initiatives. The Marketing Communications Director works with the fractional CMO to develop marketing programs and manage all Marketing channels. This position is the authority on how our company communicates and is often responsible for the company's first impression to existing clients, prospects, partners, employees and applicants.


Specific responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:


Product Marketing

  • Conduct market and competitor research. Work with Product Management to develop product positioning & competitive analysis.
  • Develop marketing strategies for the company's portfolio of cloud communication and networking services. 
  • Plan, manage and execute the successful launch of new services, functionalities and updates. 
  • Create strong product marketing content, including web site content, email marketing, social media content, brochures, spec sheets, guides, and presentations to support the sales of the company's cloud communications services. 
  • Manage freelancers, agencies and one employee to develop the content library.  

Sales Enablement

  • Develop high quality Sales enablement and channel partner enablement materials, including but not limited to presentation decks, battlecards, case studies, playbooks, cheat sheets, feature lists and more. Maintain the Sales content library.
  • Develop and manage Sales outreach campaigns and sequences for multiple stakeholders and industries. 
  • Develop content to support outsourced BDR campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain CRM processes and workflows to ensure efficient lead distribution, management and nurturing. 
  • Manage the Channel Partner Portal and ensure that all partner resources are complete, up to date, and meet partner requirements. 

Lead Generation

  • Develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers, keep current clients and engage channel partners.
  • Manage and execute email marketing, media, social media and paid search campaigns to drive sales of the company's cloud communications and networking services.
  • Manage lead distribution and nurturing processes and develop strong lead nurturing strategies.
  • Manage campaign budgets and report on success metrics to CMO, CEO and company leadership. 
  • Manage event and tradeshow participation. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or related field required. 
  • 7+ years of Marketing experience
  • 2+ years of Marketing management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the cloud communications or software as a service industry.
  • Exceptional communication, writing and editing skills. 
  • Excellent understanding of various audiences, fine differences between their needs/mindset, and the ability to tailor messaging and value propositions to their individual needs. 
  • The ability to understand and translate complex technology concepts and topics into simple content pieces. A drive for accuracy that builds credibility, and the willingness to double-check information.

Senior Litigation Paralegal

Our client is looking for a Senior Litigation Paralegal to undertake state and federal litigation case management. You will be working directly with the firm’s litigation partners, senior associates, of counsel attorneys, and our current litigation paralegals on exciting matters both in Texas and across the country, including commercial, bankruptcy, and intellectual property litigation, class action defense, and other business disputes. You will be working with attorneys that are technologically savvy, highly competent, and who view the competent paralegal as highly valued part of the successful litigation team. 

This individual will oversee daily case management tasks such as daily filing management, preparation of pleadings, case scheduling, and interfacing with clients. The position may require light clerical tasks from time to time with the support of a junior paralegal and administrative staff. Excellent problem solving and communication skills are essential to this position, including taking ownership of all cases (i.e., staying on top of deadlines, creating shells, being proactive, etc.). Assistance with legal research may also be required. 

Our Client  offers a positive work environment with long-term employees who work well together. The normal business hours are 8:30 to 5:30, Monday through Friday but may occasionally require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support attorneys during trial and hearings 
  • Act as liaison between court administrators, attorneys and Judges 
  • Observe docket reports & maintain case deadlines 
  • Draft pleading and discovery shells 
  • E-file all documents and coordinate courtesy copies as necessary 
  • Process document production and perform document review 
  • Manage scheduling correspondence between opposing counsel and attorneys 
  • Schedule and manage litigation team meetings 
  • Coordinate depositions and court reporters 
  • Prepare pleadings, rebuttals, and exhibits for use at trial 
  • Answer and direct litigation client calls 
  • Draft and review outgoing correspondence related to cases 
  • Perform filing, photocopying, scanning and faxing as necessary 

    

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum of 5 years state and federal litigation experience in a law firm 
  • Trial and Appellate experience are strongly preferred 
  • Proficient in English (oral and written) 
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and E-file
    software/websites 
  • Experience using and working with iManage is preferred 
  • Familiarity with billable hours and ability to track efficiently 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Comfort in face-to-face attorney interaction and providing daily reminders 
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities 
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously 
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate are
    a plus
